This is the blurb for Tales of the Drui and I just can’t bring myself to “toss it.” So I’m posting it here for posterity.
Beyond this world, across the sea, there is a land where the gods live and they call it Under Earth. It is there they built their realm from Seidr and it is there they hunt for the Drui who betrayed them. During the first war of time when the two clans of gods battled for Midgard, the Drui—the Shadow Race and master Seidr Weilders—escaped with a child who held the power to destroy the gods or return them to power.
Now, both clans seek the child. One, to use the child. The other, to destroy her. After centuries of searching, they have found her.
Kallan, daughter of Eyolf, queen of the Dokkalfar has no idea that she is the last Drui or that she has the power to destroy the gods. As the Fae gods hunt the Drui, Kallan is hidden, her memory taken, and her powers suppressed. But her skills soon exceed those who protect her. When Kallan’s strength emerges, the gods close in and Kallan’s father is killed. Kallan’s enemy, King Rune, is framed and the gods launch a witch-hunt that lands Kallan and Rune in the middle of Midgard.
Now Kallan must align herself with the one man she has sworn to kill if she is to survive the hunt. While battling their prejudices and each other across the ancient lands of Midgard, Rune and Kallan begin to uncover the truth of Kallan’s past buried beneath a web of lies and the Shadow that haunts them.
