Angela: Alright. As promised, here is Bergen’s interview.
Bergen: It’s about time. So far this whole thing has been about you.
Angela: Yes, well…I am the author, Bergen. Now. Introduce yourself and—I almost hate doing this—tell the audience about yourself.
Bergen: *grins* Gladly. I am Bergen, Prince and lord of Gunir. I am heir to my brother’s throne, which I want nothing to do with as I spend my time hunting and drinking. I enjoy the refined leaves of the Nordic pipe weed and never have my fill with the ladies.
Angela: One would say a man who spends as much time with the ladies, has other issues they are hiding. What are you hiding Bergen?
Bergen: Too far, Angela.
Angela: Alright…Tell “the ladies” where and when were you born.
Bergen: I was born exactly a fortnight prior to the winter solstice of the 3rd year after Baldr in Alfheim. My brother insists he was born two minutes before me. My mother and father happen to agree with my brother.
Angela: How would you describe yourself
Bergen: Charming.
Angela: *scoffs* Ugh! Spare me. Tell us about where you grew up.
Bergen: I grew up in Alfheim on an island my father Tryggve and his father Lodewuk built into Gunir. The Klarelfr River flows around that island. I grew up fishing the salmon and hunting in the forests of Alfheim. This was before the war. Before the Dokkalfar…and Swann… *Bergen takes a drink of Guinness*
Angela: Tell everyone what it is you do when you’re not wenching, hunting, or drinking or stealing my Guinness.
Bergen: I am a legend. I am a warrior and commander to my own warmen: a division of my brother’s army. I am great.
Angela: *Ugh* Too much…ego…Alright. I’ve had a number of ladies asking this one. I almost hate to ask. Are you serious with anyone?
Bergen: *smiling* There is always room for one more.
Angela: You are such a pig. Tell them about your worst fear.
Bergen: You know this answer, Angela. Why would you bring this up?
Angela: Tell them.
Bergen: I’ve already faced my greatest fear…and so I fear nothing.
Angela: Now is that really true?
Bergen: Leave it alone, Angela.
Angela: Tell us one thing you’re the most proud of and why?
Bergen: Me because I am that great.
Angela: Okay, we’re done here. I am releasing “Bane” *later this year, which is a novella from the “Bergen” series.
