Dolor and Shadow has 66 chapters. I am pleased to announce that after four hours of corrections, I just finished up with Chapter 20. This means, if my pacing continues—and it looks like it will—I will have the manuscript completed on time!
*confetti flies* I predict I will be on Chapter 40 by this evening and then tomorrow at noon I will have finished editing and uploaded the final copy to Smashwords and Amazon! I still need to finish up my acknowledgments. So many people to thank!
Edits are tedious and I’m trying to exercise my brain to break the monotony for a few minutes. I have a sweet tooth. Big time. I love my sweets. I have cow tails, scones, and biscotti covering my desk along with a bag of butterfinger and thin mints at my feet and dessert skittles. I also have Special K Pastry Crisps. LMAO…
Fresh cut lilacs from my garden
I turned my yard into a garden. My favorite flowers are lilac, peony, and roses. I have a lilac orchard next to the house and right now, the wind is blowing the scent of lilac into my room. Love it. Okay. I’m going to go water plants then get back to work.
