Camari and Mila are two sister princesses in love with the same prince, Denir. Prince Denir has been given a special gauntlet which only works if one has faith in higher power. Conflict occurs when Denir decides to turn Camari invisible with the gauntlet and then is called off to war, leaving Camari invisible. Camari must find her own way to become visible again. She must also outwit two wicked characters who connive to steal the gauntlet. Along the way, Camari meets Prince Isryk who guides her through the Wetlands of Fremil where there are dangerous creatures as well as the bog witch, Bogwina. About the Author
Lenita Sheridan was born in Seattle, Washington. She moved to Fairbanks, Alaska with her family when she was three. She was raised in a Christian home. When Lenita Sheridan was in elementary school her parents bought property in the Goldstream Valley outside of Fairbanks. She loved to play in the woods on the property. They were a source of inspiration and imagination for her. When Lenita Sheridan was eleven she made two important decisions, to become a Christian and to be a writer. She stayed in Fairbanks to do her under graduate work at the University of Alaska. Lenita Sheridan received a Bachelor of Arts in English upon graduation.
When she was in her twenties, Lenita Sheridan moved back to Washington state to look for a teaching position. While waiting to hear about positions, she substitute taught. During a snowstorm when school was closed she started Guardian of the Gauntlet. Lenita Sheridan was accepted into graduate school at the University of Washington. Guardian of the Gauntlet became her Master’s Thesis. She graduated with a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing.
She now lives on Whidbey Island where she writes, substitute teaches, and is a caregiver. She enjoys reading, crafts, singing, and walking her dog, a Japanese Spitz named Haley. Official Site
